We kicked off Innovation Month last week with an Entrepreneurship Taco Social where approximately 200 attendees gathered to eat tacos, talk about entrepreneurship, and learn how to get involved with the Derby Entrepreneurship Center and a variety of entrepreneurial student clubs.   Other Innovation Month events this month include a Fletcher D-Prize Info Session, an Ideation Workshop, Cross University Mixer, Pizza Open House, Maker Faire, and more!  CHECK OUT INNOVATION MONTH EVENTS Ideation Workshop: Finding Problems Worth Solving - September 22nd at 5:00 PM You are passionate about making a difference in the world – but there are so many problems you could solve. Which problem should you start with? How do you find your passion? Join Professor Elaine Chen, Director of Derby Entrepreneurship Center, in a fast-paced hybrid ideation session to find problems worth solving. This event is hosted by the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts. REGISTER FOR IDEATING PROBLEMS WORTH SOLVING Cross University Mixer at MIT - September 23rd at 5:30 PM The CUSI Mixer is a multi-school collaboration between 17 colleagues and universities, and the list continues to grow. Schools include MIT, Harvard, Tufts, Babson, Boston University, UMass-Lowell, and many more. This event is your chance to connect with other innovators, potential co-founders, or founding team members from other schools.  REGISTER FOR CROSS UNIVERSITY MIXER AT MIT DEC Pizza Open House - September 29th at 12:00PM Learn about the the ENT Minor and the variety of events, workshops, and business plan competitions at Tufts. You will learn to make things with your hands in one of the very best academic makerspaces in the greater Boston area. No experience is necessary! Open to students, faculty, and staff members. ZwitterCo's breakthrough technology, licensed from Tufts University, is transforming performance and economics for industrial wastewater reuse. Congratulations team!
