Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts Launches new website!
We are excited to announce the launch of a new website! Please take a minute to bookmark our new site at derbyecenter.tufts.edu to keep you up to date with our events and happenings at DEC.
For the first time in two years, Derby Entrepreneurship Center was able to go on the road! On May 17, 2022, we hosted an outdoor event for NYC based students and alumni at the Mondrian Terrace in the hip NoMad neighborhood. Over 50 participants were at the event. The energy was amazing and our alumni were thrilled to reconnect with old friends and make new connections. We will definitely do this again!
Tufts Alumni Mingle in San Francisco
Derby Entrepreneurship Center went to the West Coast! On May 24, we hosted an event for alumni who are based in the San Francisco Bay area at 111 Minna Gallery, an incredibly cool venue where we not only connected with Tufts diaspora, but we met the artist who created the paintings in the gallery itself. Fun fact: We were competing with a Warriors Game and we still got an amazing turnout!
We are working on a schedule for DEC to join in these events on a regular basis. Stay tuned!
Alumni Weekends
We welcomed our alumni back on campus over two weekends - June 3-4 and June 10-11. Alumni are happy to hear that the entrepreneurial spirit is going strong on campus!
