In-person CUSI (Cross University Student Innovator) Mixer @ The Engine 4/3
With 74 universities and nearly 250k college students, Boston’s unique student economy is the engine that drives innovation. DEC is a prominent contributor to the Boston student innovator ecosystem and is part of a coalition of university-based innovation and entrepreneurship centers that organize and take turns hosting these events.
At the March mixer at Harvard, 350+ student innovators from 20+ universities came from Babson, Olin, Wellesley, Boston College, Boston University, Brandeis, Harvard, MIT, Tufts, UMass Amherst, UMass Lowell, and more. DEC EIRs Cody Damon (pictured) and Marcus Johnson-Smith prototyped a Pitch to Match event-within-the-event, where people interested in teaming up could pitch to connect. We had 10x the number of people we expected to see and ran out of time. We are now redesigning this event for scale.
The next mixer will be on April 5 at The Engine in Cambridge. Bookmark our event page and register when the event goes live!
