Derby Entrepreneurship Center hosts Cross University Student Innovator Mixer (CUSI) for summer venture accelerator

On July 11th, DEC welcomed a large gathering of students from colleges and universities around the Boston area and several from outside the Boston area, who are participating in venture accelerators. It was a perfect summer evening to enjoy pizza and networking with student entrepreneurs from peer universities and compare notes on the ins and outs of new venture creation. This event was hosted by the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts in collaboration with Babson College, Boston University, MIT, Northeastern University and Yale University.
July 11th marked the midpoint of our ten-week Tufts Venture Accelerator. Teams delivered their venture pitch ventures to 100+ audience members in person and over Zoom. It was inspirational to see how much these teams have developed and improved in just 5 weeks! Students mentors, and guests enjoyed a dessert reception followed by pitches from the 10 Tufts Venture Accelerator teams.
