ENT Graduate Certification Celebration Highlights!

We were excited to welcome 100 graduates to the Certification Celebration on May 4th! The ceremony recognized graduating seniors who completed the Entrepreneurship Minor and the Social Impact Entrepreneurship Minor, which is offered in partnership with Tisch.

During our event, our faculty shared words of wisdom with graduates, certificates were distributed, and students enjoyed socializing with appetizers, refreshments, and celebratory cake.

Tufts Venture Accelerator: Bootcamp Begins June 12th!

The Tufts Venture Accelerator (TVA) is a 10-week-long summer accelerator that runs from June 12th to August 15th. TVA has grown significantly in the past few years. This year we have ten teams from undergraduate and graduate programs, building diverse ventures from biotech therapeutics and medical devices to social networks and SaaS businesses to social enterprises in emerging markets.  

We will be kicking off TVA 2024 on June 12 with a three-day bootcamp. Read on to learn more about the program.

New York City Alumni Rooftop Soiree Tradition Continues!

DEC collaborated with Tufts Entrepreneurial Network (TEN) and the Office of Alumni Engagement (OAE) to host the third annual NYC Rooftop Soiree at the Sentry in New York. Entrepreneurial Alumni caught up with each other and made new connections.

DEC created a dedicated microsite for  Entrepreneurial Alumni to learn more and sign up to engage with students. Check out our new site and if you haven't done so already, join the Slack community and connect with other alumni!

Tufts to host Cross University Mixer (CUSI) - July 11

Are you participating in a student accelerator with a university in the greater Boston ecosystem? If so, we invite you to join the Tufts Venture Accelerator Cohort on our Medford Campus to mingle with student entrepreneurs from peer universities to compare notes on the ins and outs of new venture creation. Hosted by the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts in collaboration with Babson College, Boston University, MIT, Northeastern University and Yale University.

Reunion Weekend and  Entrepreneurial Panel - May 31 and June 1 

Calling all alumni who are coming back to Tufts for our upcoming alumni weekend: Join the Entrepreneurship Panel on June 1! Stop by the DEC table in the lobby of the Joyce Cummings Center to connect and pick up some fun SWAG!

Energy Bar: Summer Rooftop Party - August 15

In collaboration with MassMutual Ventures, Greentown Labs is inviting entrepreneurs, investors, students, and friends of climatetech to attend, meet colleagues, and expand our growing regional climatetech network. Come network and enjoy a beverage on the Greentown roof deck! We’ll also have plenty of indoor space available for networking and taking a break from the heat.
