What's Happening At Derby Entrepreneurship Center - November 2024

Ideas Competition - Live Finals this Friday, Nov 8, 2:00pm-5:00pm in the JCC!

Support our jumbo entrepreneurs as they pitch their new ventures!  Launched in 2014, the Ideas Competition is a pitch contest for entrepreneurial Tufts students to choose a problem worth solving, come up with a great solution, and deliver a short venture pitch for a chance to interact with the audience, get feedback from judges, and win a cash prize. Refreshments to follow after the event. Watch the pitches in person or over zoom!

Apply to Montle Prize - applications accepted through Nov 17

The Paul & Elizabeth Montle Prize is intended for undergraduate students with an entrepreneurial mindset and skillset, acquired through entrepreneurship courses, co-curricular events, competitions, and/or from experience working either individually or in a team on a new venture. Winners are eligible to receive cash prizes of up to $15,000.

    Entrepreneurial Celebrity Series: Starting Small and Making It Big: The Cummings Way - Nov 18, 3:00pm-4:15pm

    Join us at Tufts University for a fireside chat and book signing event with successful real estate entrepreneur and renowned philanthropist Bill Cummings, A58, H06, J97P, M97P, moderated by Professor Usha Pasi, who teaches Nonprofits, Philanthropy and Impact. Refreshments and book signing for the 7th Edition of Bill’s book, “Starting Small And Making It Big”, will follow after the fireside chat.
